American Apparel - Berry & Army Jacket Swatches

More pics, less words I say!
American Apparel makes great polish.   Reasonably priced, wears well, shiny even without a top coat (even more shiny with a top coat), easy to apply with a totally workable formula, and has a great selection of colors.
I adjusted my camera settings to get the truest colors I could.  Berries and reds are always so tough to shoot though!

Here we go!

Berry - 2 coats with SV top coat.  Sooo pretty!

Army Jacket - 2 coats and SV top coat

Just in time for Spring! Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop

I have been lemming this polish for MONTHS and now it is finally MINE.  Mine!!!!! Muah-ah-ah-ah!!!
I found the Deborah Lippmann Get This Party Started trio on amazon.com for a very reasonable price and snatched it up.  You have to understand my excitement, especially since these are my very 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Deborah Lippmann polishes ever.  I'll post pics of the other 2 another time, but I had to share Candy Shop right away because it is so perfect for this time of year with Spring's arrival and Easter around the corner.  This polish is just so vibrant, colorful and fun.  Best of all, application was a breeze.  Although the formula was thick, which worried me a tad, it was not a problem whatsoever.  There is glitter in every brushstroke and I didn't have to worry about the glitter lying flat or uneven distribution.  It was that awesome. This is one that I will definitely be wearing again in the near future.

So, without further delay, this is Candy Shop in all it's glittery jelly goodness...

( - I used Nail Life Gripper base coat, 3 coats of Candy Shop and topped it off with a single layer of SV -)
